South Wales Ground Testing offer a range of coring services.

The tracked dynamic soil sampling rigs can interchange between the drop hammer and hydraulic rotary head allowing coring through near surface hard standing ahead of soil sampling and profiling. The tracked rigs core at 150mm as standard, smaller bits may be used if required. If necessary the cores can overlap as 'stitch' coring to provide a wide enough hole to allow an inspection pit to be excavated.

The free standing coring unit is an electric powered unit that can core up to 300mm diameter. This unit is usually used for vertical coring, however the unit can be bolted  to a wall to allow horizontal coring.
